76. Testimony from Indonesia – Child raised from the dead

Note: This testimony was shared via email to Aaron Khoo who ministers to Bible school students in Indonesia. It was written by one of the students and I have edited it for easy reading. It is a real testimony and Bro Aaron was still in awe of God as he shared it with me.
On April 14-28, 2008 we went to a mission field in East Java. I organized them into 6 groups of 2 people. All of them saw miracles happened in front them. And many of the people we pray for were healed straight away.
Vicky and Karman went to pray for young boy Dicky who was sick for almost a week. His high fever caused him to collapse frequently. His family brought him to consult many doctors but to no avail. He would also experience great pain whenever he relieves himself in the toilet.
During that time, Rony and Fery came to Karman and Vicky’s place. So they went to the boy’s house together. Dicky and his family are Muslims. When they arrived in Dicky’s house, the boy was asleep. They started to pray for him in tongues. Vicky then said, “In Jesus name be healed, this body are belong to Jesus and every evil spirit go away in the name of Jesus.”
And when he prayed, the rest continued interceding in tougues. The boy suddenly screamed and he said he was in great pain. After half an hour, they prayed again for Dicky. They told Dicky’s family that Jesus is the one who heals. Then they worshipped Jesus and anointed Dicky with anointing oil.
While these things were happening, many people came to Dicky’s house to see what was happening. Even the village leader came. When they prayed, Dicky screamed and called his mom but suddenly, he died.
Everyone was afraid because Dicky was no longer breathing. When that that happened, Vicky saw an ugly old man come out from Dicky’s body. It was an evil spirit. All four of them very scared but they stood up to pray in tongues.
Together they said, “In Jesus name rise up!!” Suddenly Dicky rose up and called his mother. He said that he was hungry and wanted to eat. At that moment, Vicky and Rony remembered what happen in Luke 8:50-56.And now, Dicky’s whole family has received the Lord Jesus. They have been going to church and the family received baptism in water 2 weeks ago. Praise God!
