6. Eunice -The restoration of my backslidden husband

This is a testimony of Sis. Eunice Ang that happened during her Lutheran church revival in the 1990s.

When Sister Eunice started to attend Dr. Leong’s (church chairman) home meetings, she was praying for her husband, Brother Ting to come back to the Lord. Although he received the Lord as a child, he had backslided for decades and had backslided. Like many believers in similar circumstances, she made a decision to walk with Jesus and to grow in her faith. It was not easy as she went to church and the home meetings alone.

Due to some spiritual disturbances experienced by her children at home, Sister Eunice invited Dr. Leong and Pastor Lee (Lutheran church pastor) to pray for her family with Brother Ting’s consent. During the intense prayer session, there was a spiritual battle at the home that impacted even the physical realm.

Sister Eunice saw in a vision something black burning and it went out of the window. The next morning, to their surprise, they realized that the window panel was dislodged outwards from its railing and was hanging precariously from her 25th storey apartment. In addition, there was a stain of blood on the wall just below the window. The blood of Jesus delivered them from the power of darkness.

During the prayer, Brother Ting saw a vision of dark clouds and he felt a conviction of sins. He had an encounter with Jesus and the black clouds dispersed. He also witnessed the reality of the power of God that delivered them.

After that session, he came to church and started walking with God. The Lord also used him to edify others through visions. He also served as a leader in the church council during the revival years. Nothing is impossible with God.
