4. Ronnie - Healed of gastric flu

My son Ronnie was down with gastric flu. He vomited twice in school and I brought him to a doctor in the late afternoon. He was given 2 days medical leave from school, and he missed his oral examinations. He had to recover quickly.

When we got home, both of us rested. I was awakened with news that Ronnie had vomited several times while I was asleep. The family members at home became anxious and wanted to bring him to a doctor again. It was about 10pm.

I felt the assurance of the Holy Spirit in my heart that everything would be okay, and there was no need to be anxious, or to go to the doctor again.

The Holy Spirit prompted me to read healing testimonies to Ronnie so that he can meditate on the promises of God. I picked up a book from my room, entitled "Christ the Healer" by F.F Bosworth - a Christian classic. There were some interesting testimonies at the end of the book - some written in the 1920's.

I read testimonies to Ronnie who was resting in bed. He enjoyed listening to them, and his countenance lifted. He forgot about his condition and became conscious of Christ the Healer. We ended off with a simple prayer for healing.

He had a good rest that night. He did not vomit anymore, and he recovered completely by the next day.
