20. Florence - The Holy Spirit is my Teacher

This was in 1991 when I was a student in the university in Singapore. After I received the baptism in the Spirit, I experienced a deeper consciousness of the presence and person of the Holy Spirit.

Each night, I would spend hours praying in the quietness of my hostel room. I poured out my heart to my Heavenly Father in words that went beyond the expressions of the human intellect. I enjoyed the communion with God and I grew spiritually. I also developed a greater sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I began to experience the Holy Spirit as my Teacher. My grades in school also improved. With a stronger spirit-man, I felt that even my memory and understanding increased significantly.

The Holy Spirit would even teach me what topics to study for my university examinations. Once I went to the exam hall, and I met my friend who was in a frantic state. She was not prepared and she was worried about the examination questions. She could not understand why I was so calm and confident.

During the examinations, the questions came out as the Holy Spirit had shown me. He also gave me the wisdom on what to write. I felt empowered to have Him with me.

Today, I still experience the Holy Spirit as my Teacher in my work. I depend on His when I am faced with difficult situations at the work place. He even teaches me what to say when I make corporate presentations. He is my wonderful Teacher.
