24. Florence – Led by the Holy Spirit in a Job Decision

In 2004, I was praying with Joshua over a job decision. I felt the peace of God (inner witness) towards “Company A” but in my natural analysis, “Company B” was a better choice. So we agonized over the decision.
We asked our dear friend, Sister Eunice to pray with us. She saw a vision of two pots of bright flowers. We kept that in our hearts for confirmation. That is how we use visions. We must hear from God in our hearts and the vision from God can serve as a confirmation.
One morning, as Joshua was driving and talking to God, the Holy Spirit suddenly directed his eyes toward the car mileage meter. The four digits on the mileage meter showed the exact salary offered by Company A. His heart jumped and he felt an inward voice confirming, “This is the job for Florence.” Joshua called me and shared excitedly.
During that period of time, Company A moved to a new office premise. When I commenced work, I was thrilled to see two beautiful pots of bright flowers at the entrance of the new office in the same manner that Sister Eunice had described in her vision. The Holy Spirit led us miraculously through His inner witness and inward voice, and gave confirmation through His vision.
